The aim of the research was to get a clear picture of the digital world and to understand its protective mechanisms for children. Through the study, critical issues emerged regarding the effective protection of minors, the risks of cyber crimes they may incur and the increasing concerns of parents in a period of constant evolution of Digital Parenting. Thanks to an in-depth analysis of the issue, new means of cyber security are then analysed by exploiting the features of the Blockchains and the operations of international organisations.
