Note: The Raven is the sequel of the work entitled: The final surrender. In the First Volume (Part I), the recurring character is a servant of God called to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to all men without favouritism or social barriers, fully aware of the fact that before the return of the Lord, he would have to face many trials and fight the good fight of faith. In the current Volume (Part II), the man of God will meet at the brook Cherith a man nicknamed The Raven who impersonates the natural man who does not receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are madness unto him, and he cannot know them because they have to be spiritually judged. For no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. In contrast, the spiritual man judges all things, and he himself is judged by no one (cf. 1 Corinthians 2:14-15). Last but not least, you will see through these two characters, that all men can be freed from sin and become servants of God. But, before that would occur, you have to strip yourself of the old man born according to the flesh and clothe yourself of the new man born according to the Spirit by virtue of the promised inheritance (cf. Ephesians 2:8 - salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, the Lord). |
